Hainan Chicken Rice

In Midtown,
there's a Hainan chicken rice stall.
You have to try it,
it's loved by children and adults.

It's pure Hainan Chicken Rice.
The chicken is really smooth and soft,
you will enjoy eating it.

The hawker of this stall is a man.
His father had been selling Hainan Chicken Rice
for at least 30 years in Penang Sri Bahari Road.
And his son is now opening a branch in Midtown Cafe.
Although it's a branch, it tastes like his father's pure Hainan chicken rice.

Must try .

About Char Koay Teow

The one who fries Char Koay Teow at our place is an experienced old man; a.k.a. bald-headed man (Well, not really old) but he's really very experienced. He was once in Kuala Lumpur, Subang, Johor, Singapore and lots more places to fry Char Koay Teow. There were also a few hotels invited him to cook for a month or a week, for their customers.

He is different from others. He fries the char koay teow one by one, even if theres a lot of people waiting, he still fries one plate by one plate. And thats the reason why he's char koay teow tastes better [: to me.

Here's a little clip for you to see. Press the link below.
*The white shirt guy who asks the man to run faster, is a guy from Kuala Lumpur, he came here just for his Char Koay Teow.

INTRO

Lorong Selamat is located at somewhere in Penang, Malaysia.
There are a lot a lot a lot of stalls which sells very very very nice foods.
And Midtown Cafe is a shop with a Teow Chew char koay teow, fried oyster, pure Hainan chicken rice and of course, the ice-kacang there, you don't want to miss it. There are always a scoop of ice-cream in the ice-kacang. And the ice-cream there is TOTALLY different from the other ice-creams. Always be the first to try the ice-cream. You won't want to order ice-kacang when the ice-creams are all finished -.- trust me.

Well, there are like, 3 to 4 coffee shops in Lorong Selamat. Midtown Cafe is the one with more than 6 pairs of fans. Of course, no offense to the other shops. In Lorong Selamat, everybody is just like a family. You can order ALL roadside foods to Midtown Cafe. In Midtown, all roadside foods are allowed. [:
